Megatron D-16’s original name refers to the Japanese serial number of the original Generation 1 Megatron toy released by Takara in 1984
Story
The never-ending origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies who were once friends, reunited as brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. Chris Hemsworth, Keegan-Michael Key, Brian Tyree Henry and director Josh Cooley discuss the true identity of Transformers and what got them excited about traveling to Cybertron. The letter D stands for Destron, the Japanese name for the Decepticons used in older media, while the number 16 marked the original Megatron toy as the sixth release in the Japanese toy line.
When it comes to the end credits, it’s worth stopping at two scenes

Several international releases of the film (including UK) have been edited to remove Orion’s “finger transformation” a few seconds earlier. change all references to Bee’s “knife hands” to refer to them as “sword hands”. It is likely that Paramount pre-edited the film for those areas.
It’s a fun throwback to the 80s with charm, cool actors and a deep message

This is the movie the Transformers franchise needed after years of mediocre movies, and while I really liked Bumblebee, it’s probably the best live-action Transformers movie to date. I think Transformers 1 is the best Transformers movie we’ve ever made, even better than Transformers (1986), which is close to my heart because I used to watch it all the time as a kid.
This is 10 times better
This movie has strong characters, funny jokes, good voice acting from an all-star cast, and great visuals. I highly recommend watching this movie.
