A live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. See all the key announcements and updates from 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Following comments by Peter Dinklage claiming that the original film portrayed dwarves in a negative light, Disney announced on January 25, 2022 that it was taking a different approach to the characters, having also consulted with representatives of the dwarven community. Many fans of the original, including Dylan Postl, pointed out that many of Dinklage’s statements were incorrect. First he said that dwarves don’t live in a cave.
