I watched the first two episodes and was only disappointed by the fact that there would only be six, and then six more. The cast is fantastic, and although the dialogue calls for more volume to these American ears, it’s well written.
The theme of the song
Normally I wouldn’t watch the screen version of a book I want to read, but I wanted to see this as soon as it came out and I didn’t know if the books. I will certainly read them later though.
As soon as I heard it I thought “They sure haven’t got Mick Jagger”?!
But it is, and the song is great, with appropriate lyrics and thematic elements of the score. I see a few reviews complaining about the ‘lefty’; leaning towards this one but all i see is art imitating life with some of the storylines.
It’s good, very good based on the first two hours
I recommend this one unless you don’t like the increased cost of espionage.
