Story
Set in the utopian Piltover and the oppressed underworld of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two legendary League of Legends champions and the power that will tear them apart. See the actors behind some of your favorite movies and animated series, including Ella Purnell in “Mysterious.” Fortiche Productions shot a music video titled “Get Jinxed” for Riot 2013. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took them several years. Following the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce.

Featured in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: Geeked Week for Freaks (2021). The EnemyWritten by Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, Robin Fredriksson, Mattias Larsson, Justin Tranter, J.I.D. Made by Imagine Dragons with J.I.D.. I watched it with my parents who know nothing about the league universe.
But my parents were pleasantly surprised
I’ve been playing league since 2010 so my opinion may be a little biased. They said at times it becomes a little clear that this series is aimed more at a young adult audience. There was little use of pop songs, and the villain who went too far has to turn around. But overall they enjoyed the first 3 episodes and wouldn’t mind watching the rest at their own pace.
As for me
I liked it! It was everything I expected and then some. Riot’s art department has always been there. And with Fortiche’s experience I knew this had very little room for error.
All in all, this show is coming together very well
Knowing that Riot’s art department has an excellent story, well written characters, and a rich lore world to learn from.
