Story
He’s smart
He’s lovable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas.
Dexter’s left side is visible throughout the first season
His son, David Zayas Jr., fills in for his father in some scenes, as the two look remarkably alike. Later, in season 2, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked. Dexter Morgan: I’ve lived in the dark for a long time.

Dexter creates a believable and highly detailed portrait of, shall we say, a troubled sociopath. One of the parts of the show I like the most is the emotions that normal people show, which forces Dexter to imitate them. Exciting story, lots of detail and one of the best opening episodes ever
It adds a nice touch of color to the show without falling into clichés.
