Season 7 was a dip in quality but still enjoyable enough, and then came season 8 which was a mistake of epic proportions. That said, nothing can take away from the wild, brilliant and emotional ride that is Game of Thrones seasons 1-6, a television series that defined a decade and changed pop culture forever.
