Nothing up until this point has come close to that
I have to say I was lucky enough to binge watch The Bureau a few years ago and to be honest it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever watched. There’s a correlation between the two shows, it’s obviously mentioned that it was "influenced" by that, but tbh i wasn’t expecting a similar story. Don’t get me wrong, the series up to this point is amazing, great cast, good cinematography, but it’s nothing i haven’t already seen in the french version.
You won’t regret it
It’s too early to tell how it’s going to turn out, but I recommend anyone who hasn’t seen The Bureau to watch it. After Fassbender played a professional assassin in David Fincher’s The Killer, and I saw he was in the cast, I knew right away that he was great choice for the role. Such series actually require a certain amount of concentration while watching them, so that you can follow all the characters in the story and the small details about them.
they don’t like it, there is no middle ground
It’s not something you would watch while riding a bike on an indoor trainer. Some might even consider them slow, maybe even boring, but it’s these characteristics and the complicated personal battles the characters have, plus the slow build-up of tension, that make them great in my opinion. The kind of series that you either love or don’t care about at all.
