Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, is playing a game to take over the criminal underworld in Gotham. Aside from the bat signal in the final shot of the season finale, we never got our Robert Pattinson cameo in “The Penguin.” In this short video, IMDb attempts to answer: Where the hell was Batman? Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of the Penguin in The Batman (2022), but he didn’t succeed.

The Penguin is simply amazing
Wow. Everyone knows what a great actor Colin Farrell is, but as the Penguin, he’s unrecognizable here. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him nominated for any awards for his role in this.
I was wrong
The biggest surprise was Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone. I wasn’t too sure when I heard she was nominated for the role, she’s a good actress but I didn’t think this role was for her. She’s as good as Farrell in this and makes you believe Sofia Falcone is a real rival to the Penguin.
That’s how DC does it
I also wouldn’t be surprised to see her nominated for any awards for her role in this. This isn’t your typical DC or Marvel show, it’s a full-on gangster series. This series is set in the underworld of an already half-destroyed Gotham City and is a great follow-up to Matt Reeves’ Batman.
